Just realized my board game storage foam trick actually saved a game night
I bought this cheap foam core board at a craft store for like $8 and cut it to fit inside my Pandemic box. All my pieces were rattling around before, but now everything stays in place when I carry it. One time I dropped the box on my porch and not a single token shifted. Has anyone else tried cutting their own inserts with simple tools instead of buying expensive ones?

My Pandemic box got the same treatment with some $5 foam board from Michaels. I cut it to fit snug around the pieces and even carved out little slots for each color's cubes and pawns. It works way better than the overpriced plastic organizers I see online.

Wait, you dropped the whole box and nothing moved?" Was it just the foam holding it all in or did you also use something to keep the lid closed tight?
