Question if recording your smokes really explains all the posting. It often looks like plain self promotion, not sharing tips. Who are they helping besides their own egos?

My buddy Jake started filming his grilling sessions last year. He got so caught up in getting the perfect shot he forgot why he liked cooking in the first place. Now his brisket is dry and his feed is just ads.
