Scored a vintage Pyrex bowl set at a garage sale for $5
Last Saturday I hit up an estate sale in the old part of town and found a complete set of four nesting Pyrex bowls from the 60s. They had the original lids and just needed a quick soak in hot water to clean up. Anybody else have luck flipping old Pyrex?

Right? I snagged a set of those earlier this year for like eight bucks and they looked brand new after a rinse. Flipped them on Facebook marketplace in two days for sixty. People go crazy for that stuff.

Vintage Pyrex is WAY overrated" that stuff is just old glass people bought at the mall.

Man you are way off on this... people are literally paying hundreds for some patterns. I saw a Cinderella set go for like four hundred bucks on ebay last month. That's not just "old glass from the mall" that's collectible stuff with crazy demand. The butterprint pattern is impossible to find under fifty bucks now. Some of those primary color mixing bowls from the 50s go for over a grand if they're in good shape. Just because you don't get the hype doesn't mean it's not real.
