Picked up a used Kemei clipper at a swap meet and it's out-cutting my Oster 76s

Isn't it funny how the cheapest stuff often works better than the expensive name brand things you're supposed to trust? Makes you wonder what we're really paying for.

Those swap meet Kemei clippers are hit or miss to be honest. I grabbed one last year and it stripped screws on the third cut. But I get the hype around cheap stuff, sometimes you get lucky with heat treat or blade alignment. Your Oster 76 is built like a tank though, its heavy and meant to run for years in a busy shop. A Kemei beating it for one haircut doesn't mean it's a better tool overall.

Reminds me of the time I bought a cheap drill from a flea market, thing worked like a dream for like six months then just died mid-screw. lmao. Hit or miss is the perfect way to put it.
