Switched from hand kneading to a stand mixer after 8 years of baking

I used to knead all my bread dough by hand for years, thinking it gave me better control. Last month I finally borrowed my neighbor's KitchenAid and tried it for a batch of sourdough, and honestly the texture came out way more consistent. Anyone else have a tool they avoided for ages but now swear by?

sandraflores nailed it with the immersion blender. That thing changed my life for soups. I was the same way, thought it was a gimmick for years. Then I burned my hand trying to pour hot soup into a blender and said forget this. Bought one the next day. Best $30 I ever spent on kitchen gear.

Oh man, the immersion blender for me. I avoided it for years because I thought it was just a gimmick. Then I made a batch of tomato soup and got sick of cleaning the blender. Borrowed my sister's and never looked back. So much easier for soups and smoothies.

Right, so does the cleanup actually live up to the hype? I keep seeing people say it's way less hassle than a regular blender but I'm skeptical. Is it really just rinse it off and done, or is there some hidden cleaning trick nobody's mentioning?
