Why does nobody talk about just buying a second shower caddy for your roommate situation
So my roommate Dan kept leaving his half empty shampoo bottles all over the tub ledge and I was minutes away from a full meltdown about it. I tried the whole talk thing twice, then tried a plastic bin, then tried moving my stuff to a shelf, and none of it stuck for more than a few days. Then my sister in Boise texted me this dumb simple idea: just buy him his own caddy for 8 bucks and put it on his side of the tub. I did it on a Sunday, put it there without saying a word, and by Thursday the ledge was clear and it has stayed clear for 3 months now. I honestly thought it was too passive and petty but it turns out he just never had a spot that was his, so everything piled up in the middle. Has anyone else fixed a roommate thing by changing the setup instead of having the fifth talk about it?
