I started counting bad parking jobs in my apartment lot for 30 days and got 47. Is taking 2 spots ever ok?
I live in a big complex in Phoenix with 200 units and the lot is always full. For 30 days straight I took a pic every time I saw a car taking 2 spots or parked on the line. I ended up with 47 pics, which is more than 1.5 a day. Most were just lazy, but 6 of them were big trucks that honestly might not fit otherwise. So here is my debate: is there ever a good reason to take 2 spots, or should you just park far away and walk? My neighbor says if your truck is huge you have no choice, but I say you can park in the back row. What do you all think, is taking 2 spots ever ok or is it always a jerk move?
Man that is some serious dedication right there, 47 pics in 30 days is wild but honestly I believe it. My old place in Tempe had the same problem and I swear half the lot was people parking like they were the only ones living there. The big truck excuse bugs me too because like your neighbor says there's always the back row, I parked my Silverado way out there for years and never once needed two spots. Taking two spots is never ok, if your ride is too big to fit in one spot then you bought the wrong ride for apartment living.
