Never knew zucchini plants are basically vegetable ninjas until last week
I was out in the garden last Tuesday checking on my squash and spotted a zucchini hiding under a massive leaf. It was over a foot long, probably 3 pounds, and completely invisible from above. I thought the plant was just done producing, turns out I was leaving food to rot because I only looked at the obvious spots. A neighbor from down the street told me zucchini can hide like that because the leaves grow so fast and dense. Now I lift every leaf every other day and found three more sneaky ones this morning. Has anyone else had a monster veggie surprise them like that?
