Last Thursday my whole garden just exploded with tomatoes
I had 12 tomato plants looking sad and yellow for weeks after a cold snap in mid-June here in Portland. Then we got three days straight of 85 degree weather and suddenly I picked over 40 cherry tomatoes from just two plants in one afternoon. Has anyone else had a weird weather shift like that totally save their crop?

Actually I had the exact opposite thing happen in my Denver garden last summer. My tomatoes were doing great after a warm May and then we got a freak hail storm in June that shredded most of my plants. I ended up with maybe 10 cherry tomatoes total from 8 plants and they were all split and weird from the sudden moisture. I think those warm spells can trick plants into fruiting too fast and then if you get any kind of stress after that its game over. People always act like warm weather is automatically good but my experience says stable weather beats warm weather every time. You got lucky with the timing lol.

Whoa, that's rough but doesn't mean warm weather is bad, just bad luck with hail.
