Tried the Guthook comments trick on the JMT and it saved my Sierra stretch
I started reading the newest comments on every water source before leaving camp, and one from 4 days earlier warned that the switchback spring past Vidette Meadow was dry, so I tanked up 3 liters and watched two guys ahead of me run out by lunch, so now I'm wondering if anyone else plans their whole resupply around recent comments or just trusts the printed guide.
