Why does nobody talk about using a hand mirror for back-of-head haircuts?
I spent like 6 months giving myself awful fade lines because I was just using the two-mirror setup and twisting my neck. Then my friend Dave, who cuts hair professionally, told me to grab a cheap little 6-inch hand mirror from Walmart for like 4 bucks and use it to see the reflection in the big mirror. It took me maybe 3 tries before I could see the back of my head clearly and actually fix the blend. Has anyone else found a weird tool that made a huge difference?

Ha! I just use a flip phone camera and lots of hope.

Whoa, wait. A flip phone? Seriously? I just can't picture that working at all. Like, how do you even see the screen to frame a shot? I'd be lost without a big screen and like a hundred settings to mess with. More power to you, I guess, but my brain is exploding a little bit.

Wait, isn't that half the fun though? I got a flip phone a few months back and honestly, my photos are like 90% guesswork and 10% luck. You just point it in the general direction and hope for the best. Like, I took a picture of my dog the other day and got a really nice blurry shot of my own thumb instead. You don't realize how much you rely on that big screen until it's gone, you know? But there's something kinda cool about not knowing if you got the shot until later. It's like a little surprise every time you open your phone.
