He said on old Cessna wiring harnesses a dull gray joint means the solder flowed right, and my bright blobs were just sitting on top of the wire, so now I run the iron a touch hotter and watch for that wet look instead of a chrome finish, and honestly I want to know if you guys were taught shiny or dull.
