Showerthought: A 2017 Ford Focus with a weird misfire took me three days to figure out
Customer complaint was just a rough idle, no codes at first. I started with the basics, plugs and coils, but it didn't fix it. Finally, after swapping the MAF sensor and checking for vacuum leaks, I found a tiny crack in the PCV hose elbow you could only see with a borescope. What's the most hidden vacuum leak you've ever had to track down?

Hidden leaks are the worst kind of puzzle.

Buddy of mine had a mystery water bill that kept going up. Took him weeks to find it, a tiny drip behind the washing machine that ran down the wall and under the slab. Had to cut the concrete and everything. That kind of slow, hidden damage is way worse than a burst pipe you can see.
