The lot I parked in off Marietta Street towed me during a 20 minute lunch
Went to grab a sandwich on Marietta Street last Tuesday and came back to an empty spot, my car gone over a $40 lunch break. The sign on the fence said customer parking only and I figured buying food made me a customer, but the guy at the tow lot on Ted Turner Drive said the lot belongs to the building, not the deli. Cost me $185 cash to get it back and the whole thing ate up my afternoon. If you park in any of those small lots near the new apartment towers, read the sign twice before you walk away. Anyone know which of those downtown lots are actually safe to use without a sticker?
