Hot take: that $85 locksmith bill was the best money I ever threw at a bad night
Everyone on here says just call a cheap guy off the internet, but after my deadbolt froze at 11pm on a Friday near Grant Park, the $85 flat rate from the 24 hour guy got me inside in 20 minutes. The $40 guy I tried first ghosted me twice and left me sitting on my porch in the cold. I get that people want to save cash, but for an actual lockout in this city the flat rate place is worth every dollar. Has anyone actually had a cheap locksmith show up on time, or am I just unlucky?
