PSA: Hand washing dishes vs using the dishwasher on a lazy Sunday
I spent two hours scrubbing pots after a big Sunday dinner last month, then my buddy told me his dishwasher has a heavy-duty cycle. That machine got off burnt cheese in 45 minutes with zero elbow grease. Has anyone else switched to the dishwasher for the tough stuff?

Wait, your buddy's dishwasher got off burnt cheese in 45 minutes? Burnt cheese is the absolute worst, I legit threw away a pan last month because I couldn't get it clean. That heavy-duty cycle sounds like a game changer, I always figured you had to scrub those crusty bits by hand. Now I'm wondering if I've been wasting my Sundays for no reason. I'm definitely trying that next time instead of soaking things for hours.

Throwing away a pan over cheese is a pain I know too well.

Hang on, I gotta disagree a bit here. Heavy duty cycles can wreck some nonstick pans over time or just not rinse off all the detergent as well. Are you sure your pan wasn't just already ruined and the dishwasher just finished it off?
