Overheard a lady at the park say her Sunday reset takes 6 hours

I was at the playground on Tuesday and this mom was telling her friend she blocks off 6 hours every Sunday to get the house and meals ready for the week. That sounds like a full shift of work to me, not a reset. How do you all handle weekend prep without it eating up your whole day?

You know, your mileage may vary, but I used to be the person who thought a couple hours here and there was fine on weekends. Then I tried a real reset one Sunday, about 4 hours of meal prep and cleaning, and it honestly made the whole week way less stressful. It changed my mind, for sure.
