Heads up about the new speed bumps on Maple Street

They put in three of those big, wide ones near the school about two weeks ago. I drive that way to work, and my commute time jumped from 12 minutes to nearly 20 because traffic just crawls over them now. The city said it was for safety after a kid ran into the road, which I get, but it's created a real backup. Has anyone found a better route to avoid that stretch in the mornings?
