TIL I was wrong about using wire staples on Cat6 runs, a guy in Dayton showed me his tester results
I always figured staples were fine if you kept them loose, Ran about 60 runs that way over 8 months with zero callbacks, so I thought I had it beat. Then a tech named Ray in Dayton pulled the jackets off two of my old jobs and showed me the crosstalk numbers, night and day next to his velcro runs. Now I want to know how many of you actually test after rough-in, or do you just trust your hands like I did?
