Can we talk about the old rivet guns versus the new electric ones
I was bucking a row of rivets on a Cessna 172 flap last week and my old pneumatic gun just quit, so I had to borrow a buddy's electric one and it was so much quieter and easier to handle, but it felt weird not having that familiar shake in my hands.

That "familiar shake" is your hands missing their daily massage. My old air gun felt like holding a jackhammer that was mad at the world. The new electric ones are so quiet it's almost creepy, like you're doing surgery instead of metalwork. I bet your arms didn't know what to do with themselves without all that vibration.

Honestly used to think the old loud tools were just part of the job, like a badge of honor. Reading what graydavis said about it feeling like surgery totally changed my mind though. Tbh that quiet focus sounds way better than coming home feeling rattled all over. My neighbor switched to an electric impact and said his coffee doesn't even shake in the cup anymore. Ngl that sold me more than any ad ever could.

Coffee doesn't even shake? That's wild.
