That tip about preheating the air fryer for 5 minutes really paid off
My coworker Sarah kept telling me to always preheat my air fryer for a full 5 minutes before putting food in. I was skeptical at first since my Ninja model doesn't have a preheat button. But I tried it last night with some frozen chicken tenders from Costco... and they came out way crispier than usual, no soggy spots at all. Has anyone else noticed a big difference with preheating or is it just me?

@rileyb61 I feel you, I don't have a preheat button either and just guess the temp. It's honestly been fine for me so far.

@rileyb61 is out here acting like a preheat button is some kind of miracle technology. Next thing you know, he'll be asking if your air fryer comes with a built-in chef to flip your fries halfway through. I don't even care if I'm winging it, my chicken tenders still come out fine without all that fuss. Sounds like more work than it's worth if you ask me.
