That $40 air fryer liner pack was a total waste of money

I bought a 100 pack of those parchment liners with holes last month for like 40 bucks thinking they'd make cleanup easy. First use they stuck to my chicken wings and burned at 400 degrees - smoke everywhere in my kitchen. I just use regular foil now and shape it around the basket myself for free. Anyone else tried those and had them fail?

Man I feel your pain on this one. I grabbed a box of those things from a big box store last year thinking I was being smart about cleanup. First batch of frozen fries and the whole liner just curled up and caught fire on the edges. Had to toss the whole basket and start over. Regular foil is the way to go. I just tear off a sheet big enough to cover the bottom and press it around the edges myself. Takes maybe 30 seconds and costs basically nothing. Those premade liners are a straight up scam if you ask me.

Wait, it actually CAUGHT FIRE? Like flames and everything? I've been using those liners for months and now I'm lowkey scared to check my air fryer basket.
