My neighbor's 10 minute air fryer salmon changed how I prep weeknight dinners

She told me she stopped preheating and just drops the fillets in frozen at 400 for 12 minutes, so I tried it with a lemon pepper rub on Tuesday and it came out flakier than my usual thawed method, has anyone else skipped the thaw step without ending up with dry fish?
