Just realized I was wrong about air frying whole fish
I always thought putting a whole fish in the air fryer would be a mess and not work well. Then I saw a video from a chef in Portland who did a whole trout with just oil and salt. I tried it last night with a 1.5 pound branzino, and it came out perfect in 15 minutes, crispy skin and all. The air fryer handled it way better than my oven ever did. Has anyone else tried a whole fish or other big item they were sure would fail?

Guess my oven and I just have trust issues then.

My old gas oven ran 25 degrees hot on the bottom rack. I had to rotate everything halfway through or it would burn.
