Blew $60 on a fancy air fryer liner set and my food came out soggy for 2 months
I want to save somebody else the money I lost. Back in March I bought one of those silicone liner sets with the ridges and the little handles, paid about $60 for a two pack because the listing promised crispy results with less cleanup. Turns out the liner blocks all the air flow under the food, which is the whole reason an air fryer works in the first place. My wings came out pale and rubbery and my fries were limp, and I kept blaming the machine and messing with temps for 2 months before it clicked. I pulled the liner out one night, threw the wings straight on the basket, and they were the best batch I'd made all year. The $60 is gone but at least the lesson stuck. Now I'm staring at the trays in my cabinet wondering if anything else I bought is quietly ruining my food, so what air fryer accessory did you regret buying?
