Lost 300 bucks on an AI resume tool that rewrote my whole work history

Back in March I paid for that fancy AI resume builder, thought it would save me time before a job fair in Austin. It took my warehouse supervisor role and turned it into corporate speak, made me sound like a robot from 2030. Spent a week fixing every line it generated, finally just deleted the thing and went back to my old template. Has anyone else had an AI tool make their actual experience worse, or was it just me being too picky?

Skip the AI and just describe what you actually did that day, recruiters eat that up.
