Burned $300 on an AI side hustle course that taught me nothing

Signed up for one of those AI automation courses in March, the guy promised I'd be making passive income by summer. Instead I got 40 hours of videos about prompts I could find for free on YouTube. The only real tip was to resell the course to other people, which felt gross. I'm back to doing actual client work and the only automation I use is a simple email filter. Has anyone else gotten scammed by these guru style AI courses where the whole business model is just recruiting more students?
