An AI tool fixed my constant overordering on jobs
I was prepping for a shed build and as usual, bought way too many screws and boards. Heard about this AI that scans your material lists from photos. I gave it a shot with my phone. It crunched the numbers and told me exactly what I needed. Now my storage is less cluttered and my wallet is happier.

Not me, I always underorder and regret it.

Noticed this happens with everything, not just DIY. We buy too much food, pack too many clothes, fill our calendars. Feels like a human thing to overprepare.

Question if this is even a real problem to solve. Having extra screws or wood around seems fine, not some major life failure. Stuff like that gets used on the next project anyway. My garage has leftovers from years ago that still come in handy. Calling it clutter feels like making a big deal out of nothing. This just doesn't seem worth the stress or needing an app to fix.
