Our $8k display ad test flopped last week and now the client wants answers
We ran a Facebook and Instagram campaign for a local furniture store in Columbus for three weeks and only got 14 leads out of $8,000 spent. My boss wants me to explain why the cost per lead was almost $600 when the client's previous agency got it down to $85 with the same budget. I think it's the creative, we used their old catalog photos instead of new lifestyle shots, but I'm not sure that alone explains a 7x difference. Anyone dealt with a gap this bad and figured out what was actually causing it?
