Travel operator – Discounted Airfares come with Rigid Rules

A major drawback with most, if not, all discounted airfares for international flights is that they are only available for non-refundable tickets and usually are non-transferable. Why so? One of the reasons for this has to do with the increased security measures that are in place in different parts of the world, part of which is having the name, dates and flight number all fixed when booking. Although it reduces security problems for that particular country or place, it would imply rigid rules are implemented to potential tourist. Well, in this case – most internet-based travel operators that you can deal with would require you to be prepared to pay for your ticket in full at the time that you book your flight. Depending on the discount that you received and the terms of the agency and the airline, you may be able to make slight changes to your flight schedule.
