I am second generation born and raised in Southwest Florida which is a rare thing to come by if you know anything about southwest florida. You would think that I would have gotten certified as a teenager but I didn’t learn to scuba dive until I was in my early 20′s. I remember it well. It was at a place called Sanibel Island scuba. Even though we have a very silty bottom along our coast, there is fun diving in the area. We simply create our reefs out of various different wrecks or bridge rubble et cetera. My now husband was in the class with me and we will remember it fondly for years.
