One of my favorite flashlights is the SureFire.  These lights are built to last – they’re increidble flashlights!  SureFire pays special attention to detail. SureFire Flashlights LLC uses mil-spec standards for their flashlights.  One thing to beware of when purchasing one of these marvels is that it is very important to buy from an authorized SureFire dealer.  If you’re dealing with an authorized dealer, you’re sure that you’re going to get a Flashlight that is made in the USA by SureFire.  Sometimes Chinese knock-offs are floating around out there and for sale by dealers posing as authorized dealers.  Bottom line:  SureFire makes great flashlights.
