Gateway computers have similar problems as other computers.  Basic Computer Troubleshooting is also the key to getting your Gateway back up to speed.  Everyone hates a slow computer or a computer that doesn’t work at all.  So here are some basic computer maintenance that you need to perform periodically on your Gateway computer.

First, check your disk space.  Delete any files that you no longer need.  Empty folders that hold temporary internet files.  Pictures and videos can be stored on a CD versus being in your computer.  This is actually a good idea in case your computer crashes.  It would be wise to have a second back up of these wonderful memories.  Just remeber that Gateway acts like most other computers in relation to the types of problems it can have and the solutions to those problems.
