There’s No Pleasing Her

This exmormon friend of mine, it seems she has something nasty to say about everyone she meets and I don’t know why. She will read ill intentions into anything anyone says. My friend was giving me a compliment about how I live a simple life and my exmormon friend thought she was insulting me. No, my friend is just impressed that I have chosen not to over schedule myself or spoil my kids by involving them in every sport known to man. I appreciated the compliment, but I can’t say I make those choices out of pure love. Part of it is I don’t want to spend my days running them all over town.
