Earning a degree requires not just lots of time and money, but an equal amount of dedication.  How many students set out working toward a particular degree, only to quit midway through?  This seems to suggest to me, that their hearts just weren’t  in the career they were preparing for.  I have two good friends who experienced this very scenario.  Luckily for them, they were able to recognize within a few semesters, that they needed to change direction. For both of them, the solution was to pursue paralegal degrees, which they eventually completed, later finding work they found very fulfilling.
