Requirements to Become LEED Green Certified

The LEED Green Associate exam is the first level of the LEED certification process. A person must fulfill eligibility options to qualify to take the exam. Persons must have experience supporting a LEED project or experience working in a supported field of work. You have to meet only one of the above requirement. Thirdly a person can attend a education program that addresses the green buildings but because most are not able to meet this requirement, they can become eligible by passing the LEED Green Associate exam and then gain experience. The requirement for the exam must be documented in letter form with written support from a client or project manager.
