Brazil Have a Highly Professional Diplomatic Corps

Brazil, a thriving, important country in the world community, is known for having a highly professional, well-trained diplomatic corps. Many of those representing Brazil received their formal training at the nation’s top program for diplomats, the Institute Rio Branco -IRBr-, in Brasilia. To be considered for the program, applicants must demonstrate their thorough knowledge of Brazil’s history, other topics like law and business, and be proficient in French and Spanish. The graduate-level Graduation and Improvement program lasts two years, and provides each student with the education and diplomatic experience necessary to qualify them to represent Brazil in countries around the world.
