It was my birthday last week and it was probably the best birthday I’ve had in thirty-four years.  I know, there’s nothing very special about the number thirty-four, but it was a good day and night.  I had a job interview that went pretty well, went swimming at a good friends house, went to get a pedicure and late night movie with another good friend.  It was relaxing and fun, and my kids even behaved reasonably well.  And to top it all off I received one of those beautiful birthday gift baskets filled with all my favorite treats.  I was spoiled that day, and now I’m looking forward to thirty-five.  I never thought I’d be saying that!
