Learning the American English Accent-When to PracticeWhen learning how to pronounce new sounds while learning the American accent, it is best to practice every day.  Find a time that is convenient for you, and make that time your practice time.  Set this time aside and be diligent about spending about 30-60 minutes a day focusing on your speech.  It isn’t necessary to do all of your practicing at the same time; you can break up the practice sessions into two or three short sessions.  Some people find it convenient to practice in their car, while other prefer to practice at home.
