Back in 1988, hip hop legendary group Public Enemy had a song on their “It Takes a Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back” album called “She Watches Channel Zero”. It was about women who waste their time watching mind numbing, soap operas. Nowaways the digital cable, VH1 channel represents “channel zero”. It’s ironic (and hypocritical?) that Flavor Flav is a member of Public Enemy, since he’s also the star of one their highest rated series (in VH1 history), “Flavor Of Love”, which featured artificially endowed women wearing revealing attire (Womens Motorcycle Clothing, etc) and humiliating themselves in hopes of becoming his mate.
