This weekend we were out hitting the yard sales and couldn’t believe our luck. Somebody had found a bunch of old Star Trek trading cards and comics in their attic, and didn’t have the sense to check the values on eBay. The comics were from TV 21 as well as the Gold Key ones from 1967 and 68. The trading cards were opened, but there were all 6 dozen from the 1967 Leaf set. Must’ve been a kid that was a collector had lived in the house originally. We asked why they were selling them, and they said they weren’t fans, and just found them in the attic.

We’re still working on the memerobilia site (gotta remember to look up that GoDaddy Promo Code), but these may actually be a centerpiece of our own collection, and we got them for a song – I’m embarrassed to even say how much.
