A short sale can be a blessing or it can just end up wasting time. Sometimes, when a good, nice and experienced real estate investor is helping a homeowner who is cooperating with the investor and the bank, a short sale can be successful and everyone involved will be happy.

However, there are times when the homeowners is not cooperating or the investor is not experienced enough to help the homeowner.

The bank can also be a problem. If any of these happen, a short sale can fail and the homeowner will have wasted his or her time for nothing.
