I love that our new home has such an open floor plan. Unfortunately though, now we have a formal dining room and our entertainment room all basically in one room. We either need to downgrade our formal dining room furniture or we need an upgrade on our more then gently used Living Room Furniture. I do not think that it would hurt to make the kids eat more often at the table so the furniture in the living room will stay clean. It is a nice floor plan but all of our furniture does not match so it is time to go shopping.
