There’s a family that we’ve known for quite some time. Both of their sons have been extremely overweight ever since they were teens. I remember seeing one of them after quite awhile and being shocked that he looked so good. He had to have lost about 200 pounds, which was amazing. However, he had the regular gastric bypass surgery, before the mini gastric bypass surgery was available and he ended up having problems with it and a failed procedure. He gained all that weight back, which was really unfortunate. I think the newer methods are much safer and seem to have better results.
